Marjorie “Margie” Burton – Lead Consultant
Hi, I’m Margie — the lead consultant at Burton I.T. I’ve spent nearly 30 years helping companies build software they can be proud of. From co-ordinating 90+ QA resources across 7 countries at Hudson MX, to delivering $1M in sustainable savings at HSBC, I’ve seen what great quality assurance can do for a business. Today I work directly with clients to design testing strategies, build high-performing QA teams, and bring Agile and AI practices into the mix where they add real value. I’m PMP and SAFe 6.0 certified, and I genuinely love this work.
Mark Burton – Co-founder & Agile Consultant
Hi, I’m Mark — co-founder of Burton I.T. and the Agile and quality strategy guy behind the scenes. I’ve spent nearly 30 years in IT across the UK and US, working with global giants like HSBC, Cox Automotive, and Hudson MX. I’m a Certified Scrum Master with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training, and I’ve spent most of my career helping teams work smarter — whether that’s coaching agile transformations, cutting automation run times by 80%, or driving the kind of process improvements that actually stick. I started Burton I.T. with Marjorie because we believe great IT consulting should feel like a partnership, not a transaction. I bring the process discipline and technical backbone; together we help businesses build better, ship faster, and actually enjoy the journey.
